The tour is crazy--more history about bacardi than you ever wish to
know. And no pictures inside. But free drinks at the
end! The fifth graders love this field trip.
This is not Ron Bacardi. Ron actually means rum, and the
spanish put their adjectives after the noun--Ron Bacardi=Bacardi Rum.
After you leave the factory, you have to wait for the ferry in
Catano. It's not a hip, wealthy area, but you can get a beer for
$.75 at one of the local dives. And watch spanish soap operas
with the under-employed patrons.
